professional mentoring program for members of the television
industry. For NTA Members only, One-on-One is a powerful
tool for persons interested in taking charge of their own
career development.
We
offer unprecedented access to senior level professionals
who willingly agree to help less seasoned colleagues achieve
success.
The
Way it Works:
Mentors are carefully selected from the ranks of NTA members
- those who have already demonstrated talent, energy and
skill within their own careers. Our mentors include Emmy
Award winning professionals from all disciplines, both on
camera and behind the scenes. This select group of professionals
choose to participate and agree to make themselves available
to a mentee.
Mentees
complete the One-on-One form, providing professional data
and career goals. Each mentee is then matched to an appropriate
mentor - one who holds the job the mentee aspires to, who
can offer real, practical career advice and access to a
greater network of professionals.
Each
One-on-One Mentee receives:
A senior level mentor who commits his or her time, energy
and skill to the one-on-one partnership during the program
year. Communication is via email or telephone.
Each
One-on-One Mentor receives:
A unique opportunity to model leadership qualities for a
less-seasoned colleague and the knowledge they are making
a real difference in someone's career.
